I wonder what governor David Paterson was thinking while marching through Harlem on Sunday 19. That same morning, The New York Times had published on its front page a story about President Obama not wanting him to run for governor in 2010.
Four days later I sat down with him for an exclusive interview for Pura Política. He denied that any “authorized” person had conveyed that message from the president to him. He had time to contradict himself a few times during the 17-minute interview. At the end of it, after taking his mic off, he told me he was sure I “could fill in the blanks.”
